I came to triathlon after falling out of love for cross country and running around a track. I had recently moved to Oxford and needed something new to spark the enjoyment into training again. I had just watched an ITU race on the TV and thought – Let’s give that ago.

As most triathletes find, you start with a sprint and it quickly becomes more than just a hobby and more than just a sprint tri!

In 2018 I raced my first Ironman and managed to qualifier for Kona. At the time I didn’t really know what Kona was, but that setup my long distance career and from there I have now raced 3 further world champs and now travel the world doing what I enjoy most.

After nearly 10 years in the sport, plus the numerous years of running and being a swimming coach, I now like to use that experience to help others achieve their goals!
